2016 Goals

I like being open about my fitness and professional goals. When we push our bodies and minds to the limit we make it easier for others to follow in our footsteps. The unattainable can suddenly seem possible.

I never thought I could run a marathon until I watched my dad, Natalie DiBlasio and 30,000 other people run Marine Corps in 2014. I never thought I could visit 50 countries until I met someone who travelled full time on less than $15,000/year. We are all capable of our own amazing feats. I’m blessed to have a body that can handle the rigors of marathon training and I won the lottery when I was born a US citizen with the freedom to travel the world. Enough preaching. Here are my goals for 2016 and beyond:

  • I want to run 3 more marathons (3 new countries): one near Bali in March (Nick), one in Switzerland (Matt) and the Stockholm Marathon
  • I want to complete my first triathlon in 2016
  • I want to complete an ironman before my 28th birthday (Gregorio Schleifman inspired)
  • My website will be getting overhauled in the next month or so. New layout and some minor content changes, still focused on running and travel.
  • I reaffirm my commitment to learning French and Swedish. Three years deep on the French and one year on the Swedish.

Be safe, be happy and be healthy.
