Three Male Celebrities who Crushed Marathons
Edward Norton (3:48:01)
Edward Norton took top honor in this countdown with a time of 3:48:01 in the 2009 New York City Marathon. He banded together a team of celebrities for the race and raised over $1 million for the Maasai Wilderness Conservation Trust. He has had a long career with roles in American History X, Fight Club, The Incredible Hulk,Moonrise Kingdom, Birdman and many other films.

Apolo Ohno (3:25:12)
Apolo Ohno won eight Winter Olympic medals in short track speed skating. He ran a 3:25:12 in the 2011 New York City Marathon. According to interviews, he was named for the Greek words “Apo,” meaning “steer away from” and “lo,” meaning “look out; here he comes.”

Harry Reid (3:16:00)
Our clear winner, Harry Reid, ran the 1972 Boston Marathon in 3:16:00. There are reports that he ran at least 15 marathons in his youth. He turns 76 this December and has served as a U.S. senator from Nevada since 1987.
